Client Book COver Design

Custom LetterPress and stitched book cover

This craft work was for a client take away at the end of an agency pitch. Consistency was key. The cover I was customizing was to go on three books, one to be gifted to the client at the end of the meeting and the other two sent by pigeon carrier to others in California. The books were wrapped, bound and tied with leather, which was a creative link to an important aspect of this luxury car brand.

The covers included a raised leather squared, hand stitched on with an embossed quote from the book On The Road written by Jack Kerouac. It was the first time I had worked with leather stamping, using antique letterpress stamps. This creative decision tied in with the content of the book which was Arnold's creative teams challenge to drive across country in two BMWs. From Boston to LA.

Designed with passion, constructed with precision and handled with care, the client loved this take away and the team received a glowing email.
